Olympic Scams

I was contacted by Deidre Randall who received the email below. We advice everyone to be cautious of any offers relating to the Olympics and ignore any emails, letters, flyers or telephone calls offering Lottery ticket wins, Olympic tickets or any services linked to the games.

We are happy to highlight any scams and are happy to publish to stop people getting ripped off.

This email is from The London Organising Committee of the Olympic
Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).

In an effort to give back to the society that has given so much already, the LOCOG has started a quarterly (online email) draw in conjunction with Microsoft.

The online email draw is held using thousands of active emails from a region, and four emails finally emerges as the winning emails of One million Pounds Sterling (£1 million GBP) each.
