Booking your journey

Spectators with tickets for sporting events can book travel from around the UK now on any of the additional Games services.

These bookable services are:

  • 2012 Games rail services.
  • 2012 Games park-and-ride for venues.
  • 2012 Games coach services to ExCeL, and Greenwich (30 July only), the Olympic Park and Weymouth and Portland.
  • 2012 Games Blue Badge parking.
  • 2012 Games river services.
  • You will receive a one-day Games Travelcard with your event ticket for competitions in or around London.

Top tips for travelling during the Games

  • Venues will be very busy and you will need to allow time for airport-style security and ticket checks.
  • Plan and book your transport early.
  • Allow plenty of time for your journey.
  • Do not drive to venues.
  • Don’t forget to plan your return journey
  • Follow instructions from transport staff on the day of your event.
